Pelanggaran Maksim Kerjasama dalam Stand-Up Comedy Chris Rock

Stand-up comedy adalah salah satu humor yang cukup menyita perhatian masyarakat dewasa ini. Berbagai hal dilakukan komika untuk menciptakan humor yang segar dan menggelitik lewat permainan kata-kata salah satunya dengan melanggar prinsip kerjasama dalam kajian pragmatik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis pelanggaran prinsip kerjasama yang terdapat pada stand-up comedy ‘Kill the Messenger’ Chris Rock. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan descriptive kualitatif. Data yang diperoleh berasal dari tuturan Chris Rock dalam stand-up comedy yang berjudul Kill the Messenger. Terdapat 3 tahapan yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini yaitu pengumpulan data, analisis data dan penyajian data. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik simak dan catat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapat 1. pelanggaran maksim kualitas 2. pelanggaran maksim kuantitas 3. pelanggaran maksim relevansi 4. pelanggaran maksim pelaksanaan. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah komedi yang dituturkan oleh Chris Rock sering melanggar prinsip kerjasama terutama maksim kualitas dalam menghadirkan humornya.
Abstract
Stand-up comedy is a form of humor that has caught the attention of today's society. Stand-up comedian has done various things to create fresh and intriguing humor through play on words, one of which is by violating the principle of cooperation in pragmatic studies. This study aims to describe the types of violations of the cooperative principle found in Chris Rock's stand-up comedy 'Kill the Messenger'. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The data obtained comes from Chris Rock's story in a stand-up comedy entitled Kill the Messenger. There are 3 stages carried out in this study, namely data collection, data analysis and data presentation. The data collection technique used is the observing and noting technique. Based on the results of the study, it was found that 1. violation of the maxim of quality 2. violation of the maxim of quantity 3. violation of the maxim of relevancy 4. violation of the maxim of manner. The conclusion in this study is that the comedy spoken by Chris Rock often violates the cooperative principle especially maxim of quality in presenting his humor.
