Nominalisasi pada Film Dokumenter The Bird Dancer Karya Elemental Production: Kajian Analisis Wacana Kritis Theo Van Leeuwen

This study aims to describe the process of nominalization in the film The Bird Dancer. The data used in this research is the dialog text of the documentary film The Bird Dancer by Elemental Production obtained from the transcription results. The method used is descriptive qualitative. By using Theo Van Leeuwen's Critical Discourse Analysis approach. The results of the study found that Elemental uses a nominalization process to eliminate social actors in the dialogue text of The Bird Dancer film with the form of nominalization changing 6 data namely: suffering, improvement, treatment, treatment, care, and feelings. From the omission of social actors in the film, the audience who watches cannot know which actor is responsible for the events in the text.
Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses nominalisasi dalam film The Bird Dancer. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teks dialog film dokumenter The Bird Dancer karya Elemental Production yang diperoleh dari hasil transkripsi. Metode yang digunakan adalah deksriptif kualitatif. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan Analisis Wacana Kritis Theo Van Leeuwen. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa Elemental menggunakan proses nominalisasi dalam menghilangkan aktor sosial di teks dialog film The Bird Dancer dengan bentuk nominalisasi beruba 6 data yakni: penderitaan, perbaikan, penghinaan, pengobatan, perawatan dan perasaan. Dari penghilangan aktor sosial dalam film, khalayak yang menonton tidak dapat mengetahui siapa aktor yang bertanggung jawab terhadap peristiwa-peristiwa dalam teks pembicaraan.
