Vol. 18 No. 1 (2026) of the Journal of The Indonesian Society of Integrated Chemistry (JISIC) presents a collection of original research focusing on innovations in chemistry education and applied chemistry. This issue specifically highlights recent trends in digital transformation and the utilization of technology in the classroom, including the development of Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning media, the integration of Artificial Intelligence (ChatGPT), Green Chemistry-oriented virtual laboratories, and the effectiveness of E-Modules based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and the RADEC model.

In addition to pedagogical studies and a systematic literature review on STEM-based assessment, this issue features applied research in environmental and analytical chemistry, particularly focusing on the adsorption of heavy metals using Acacia bark. It is anticipated that this publication will serve as a comprehensive reference for academics, researchers, and educators in developing adaptive chemistry learning strategies and advancing sustainable chemistry research.
