Every article submitted to the editor will be checked for plagiarism and declared to have a maximum similarity rate of 20%. The checking tools used are Crossref Similarity Check (iThenticate), Turnitin, or Plagiarism Checker.

Journal Publication Ethics Guidelines

Publication of an article in a peer-review process DIKBASTRA: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra is an important building block in the development of a coherent and respected knowledge network.

It is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support them. Peer-reviewed articles support and embody the scientific method. The journal follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) which address all aspects of publication ethics and, in particular, how to handle cases of research and publication misconduct.

This statement clarifies the ethical behavior of all parties involved in the act of publishing articles in this journal, including authors, Editor-in-Chief, Editorial Board, bestarial partners and publishers.

Publishing Decisions

The editor of DIKBASTRA: Journal of Language and Literature Education are responsible for deciding which articles to publish.

The validity of the work in question and its importance to researchers and readers should always drive the decision.

Editors may be guided by the journal's editorial board policy and constrained by applicable legal requirements regarding defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism. Editors may confer with other editors or reviewers in making these decisions.
