Each manuscript sent to the editors of the Communale Journal is managed through the following process:
- Initial screening
The chairman or member of the support contact editor will first screen the eligibility of the manuscript to continue or not the editing process. Preliminary screening here includes: conformity of the manuscript to the scope of the journal; conformity of the manuscript to Journal Policy, Publication Ethics, and Writing Guidelines; similarity of the manuscript with articles or other published materials. In the event that the manuscript is deemed "unfit to continue the editing process", then the manuscript is returned to the author to be adapted to the style of the cheating or resubmitted (rejected) the authorship rights. In the event that the manuscript is deemed "worthy of continuing the editing process", the editor-in-chief or editor-in-chief appoints the editing member in accordance with the scientific field and performance load to carry out the editing process. - Editing
Editors edit the manuscript to be more adapted to the journal's style of cheating. Edits here include: the format of the manuscript; citations and references; word choice; and narrative sentences and paragraphs. Therefore, editors not only correct letters and footnotes-bibliography, but can also insignificantly improve the headings and descriptions of the manuscript to better fit the journal's style of cheating. Any such changes are communicated with the editor-in-chief and author through the discussion menu, to elicit a reciprocal response. Manuscripts that have been edited are sent to the editor-in-chief for further proceedings. - Review of substance
The editor-in-chief or member of the editor-in-chief of support contact sends the manuscript that has been edited to the peer reviewer for a review of the substance, first removing the identity of the author and his affiliates. Each manuscript will be reviewed by two competent peer reviewers in their fields. The review of the substance by the peer reviewer is carried out through filling out a form prepared by the editor and/or providing a side note (comment) on the manuscript being reviewed. The results of the review of peer reviewers include: "manuscripts accepted"; "manuscript received with minor improvements"; "manuscript received with major improvement"; or "manuscript rejected", accompanied by notes and reasons. - Revisions
The editor-in-chief or member of the support contact editor submits the results of the review of the manuscript by the peer reviewers to the author by first removing the identity of the peer reviewer. At this stage, the editor-in-chief or member of the editor also sends the results of the Turnitin check to the author via electronic mail because the check result file is usually large, but still communicates it through the discussion menu of the journal account. In presenting the results of turnitin's review and checks, the editor-in-chief or member of the editors also tells the author what should be done in revising the manuscript. The revision process by the author here can be more than once, according to the assessment of the chairman or the editor-in-chief whether the revised manuscript has accommodated the notes of peer reviewers and editors. - Final verdicts
The chairman or member of the support contact editors gives the final decision whether a manuscript that has been revised or in the event that the manuscript is declared not accepted by the peer reviewer, can be published or not. In the event that the manuscript is "accepted for publication", the manuscript is carried out in the process of proof reading of the writing and the choice of words, sentences, paragraphs, and references. This process of changing words, sentences, paragraphs, and references can continue until the manuscript is published, provided that these changes are communicated by the editor and author. In the event that the manuscript is "not accepted for publication", the chairman or member of the editor returns the manuscript and its authorship rights to the author. - Publish
Manuscripts accepted for publication are collected until the number of articles of one number or edition is met, namely seven articles of legal research or study and one article of review of legal figures and thoughts. Articles collected in one number or edition of this issue are then published online and in print.
