PENGARUH DESAIN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN PADA PT. SUCOFINDO CABANG JAMBI DENGAN MOTIVASI INTRINSIK SEBAGAI VARIABEL MEDIASI

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT. Sucofindo Cabang Jambi dan tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh desain kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Sucofindo Cabang Jambi dengan motivasi intrinsik sebagai variabel mediasi. Sebagai subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT. Sucofindo Cabang Jambi yang berjumlah 57 orang. Sampel diambil berdasarkan teknik non probability sampling dan teknik penentuan sampel adalah sampel jenuh. Metode yang dipergunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian eksplanatori. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode kuesioner dan skala pengukuran variabel meggunakan skala likert. Alat analisis data penelitian ini adalah metode Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan menggunakan software smartPLS.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja, desain kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi intrinsik, motivasi intrinsik berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja dan desain kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Sucofindo cabang Jambi dengan motivasi intrinsik sebagai variabel mediasi. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pengaruh tidak langsung desain kerja terhadap kinerja yang dimediasi oleh motivasi intrinsik lebih besar dibandingkan dengan pengaruh langsung desain kerja terhadap kinerja.
