Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berlokasi di desa Ibru Kecamatan Mestong Kabupaten Muaro Jambi dimana sebagai mitra adalah sisws SMK Asy’ariyah.  Pengabdian kepada masyarakat  ini bertujuan agar siswa SMK Asy’ariyah  terampil dalam membuat kompos yang berkualitas sehingga bisa dimanfaatkan untuk meningkatkan hasil sayuran dan palawija serta kesuburan dan sifat fisik tanah tetap terpelihara dengan baik juga bisa sebagai sumber penghasilan. Dalam memecahkan masalah yang ditemui dimana kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa SMK Asy’ariyah dalam membuat kompos yang berkualitas sesuai dengan teori dan teknologi yang berkembang sat ini, maka kami dari tim pengabdian memberikan beberapa solusi diantaranya (1) Memberikan pengajaran kepada siswa SMK Asy’ariyah  tentang pentingnya memelihara kesuburan tanah agar hasil tanaman selalu meningkat, (2) Memberikan pengajaran kepada siswa SMK Asy’ariyah tentang manfaat pemberian pupuk organik dan cara pemberian pupuk organik yang tepat, (3) Memberikan pengajaran kepada siswa tentang cara pembuatan kompos yang benar dan berkualitas, dan (4) Melaksanakan demontrasi tentang pembuatan kompos yang berkualitas dengan memanfaatkan bahan organik yang ada disekitar lokasi pengabdian. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa SMK Asy’ariyah jadi bertambah dengan diberikannya teori dan praktek cara pembuatan kompos yang benar dan berkualitas, dengan harapan siswa bisa mempraktekkannya sendiri di kebun percobaan sekolah, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kesuburan tanah,baik fisik, kimia maupun biologi tanah dan meningkatkan hasil tanaman.

No breach or violation of this agreement will cause this agreement or any license granted in it to terminate automatically or affect the definition of JKAM. 

  1. Royalties

This agreement entitles the author to no royalties or other fees. To such extent as legally permissible, the author waives his or her right to collect royalties relative to the article in respect of any use of the article by JKAM or its sublicensee.

  1. Miscellaneous

JKAM will publish the article (or have it published) in the journal if the article’s editorial process is successfully completed and JKAM or its sublicensee has become obligated to have the article published. JKAM may conform the article to a style of punctuation, spelling, capitalization, referencing and usage that it deems appropriate. The author acknowledges that the article may be published so that it will be publicly accessible and such access will be free of charge for the readers.
