STUDI KUALITATIF PERILAKU MEROKOK PADA KARYAWAN DI RUMAH SAKIT RADEN MATTAHER JAMBI

Rumah Sakit Raden Mattaher merupakan rumah sakit pemerintah Provinsi Jambi. Berdasarkan
peraturan pemerintah nomor 109 tahun 2012 tentang zat adiktif, dikatakan bahwa rumah sakit tidak
di benarkan menjual, mempromosikan dan merokok dilingkungan. Hasil pengamatan dilapangan
terlihat banyak orang di lingkungan rumah sakit yang merokok, perokok terdiri dari pedagang,
karyawan, dan pengunjung rumah sakit. Berdasarkan hasil observasi masih ada karyawan dan
pengunjung yang merokok di lingkungan rumah sakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
mengidentifikasi pengetahuan, peran petugas dan komitmen penentu kebijakan dalam melaksanakan
kawasan tanpa rokok di RSUD Raden Mattaher. Metode penelitian kualitatif digunakan dengan
responden pejabat di RSUD, kepala ruangan, perawat, petugas administrasi dan karyawan yang
merokok. Masih adanya karyawan yang merokok kurangnya perhatian dari penentu kebijakan,
belum pahamnya tentang kawasan tanpa rokok, serta petugas keamanaan belum mempunyai
kekuatan hukum untuk melaksanakan kawasan tanpa rokok. Perlunya dukungan direksi penentu
kebijakan dalam menjalankan Surat keputusan yang telah di buat. Meningkatkan peran media dalam
mensosialisasikan kawasan tanpa rokok di Rumah sakit Raden Mattaher jambi baik karyawan
maupun pengunjung rumah sakit.
