Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • 1. Please make sure that authors understand and follow these terms before proceeding with the next step in article submission.
    The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor). Articles published in conferences will need to be altered prior to submission with at least 25% differences to the original paper, and pass our similarity check.
    Authors are bound to our Plagiarism Policy, thus careful considerations should be done prior to submitting the article. In any circumstances that Edumatica found article has or being published elsewhere which is identical to the one published in Edumatica, we will retract the article following COPE's guidelines on retracting articles and notify the author.
  • 2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word file format, following the author guidelines and article template. Please make sure that you use Mendeley to help in referencing.
    Failure to follow the guidelines will cost you time and perhaps rejection of your manuscripts.
  • 3. use the most up-to-date references. Do pay attention that Edumatica: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika prefers journal articles, research reports, and conference proceedings as the main references.
  • 4. Authors are discouraged from withdrawing submitted manuscripts after it is in the publication process (review, copyedit, layout, etc.,). During the time, Edumatica: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika had spent valuable resources besides time spent in the process. Should under any circumstances that the author(s) still request for a withdrawal, author(s) should pay back every effort put into the manuscript processes at an amount of US $100. Paid upon official withdraw request from the author(s) in an email sent to Edumatica's editor using the same email address used in correspondence.
  • 5. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

Before prepare and submit article manuscripts, please note that author(s) are discouraged from withdrawing submitted papers after it is in the publication process (review, copyedit, layout, etc.,). During the time, Edumatica had spent valuable resources besides time spent in the process.

Please prepare your manuscript before submission, using the following guidelines and the article template below:

    1. Articles come from the results of research in the field of mathematics education and / or learning.
    2. Articles have never been published and will not be published by journals or other published media.
    3. Written articles follow the template provided on article template Edumatica.
      Articles written in Indonesian with times new Roman size 11 spaces 1 A4 paper size approximately 10 pages.
    4. Articles are supplemented with abstracts (in Indonesian and English) 150-200 words and keywords written with times new roman size 11 spaces 1.
    5. The title of the article must be clear, concise and informative. The title of the article is made in Indonesian and English.
    6. The beginning of the paragraph is written on the first beat while the distance between paragraphs is 1.15
    7. Articles are typed using the MS-Word program and submitted at https://online-journal.unja.ac.id/index.php/edumatica/.
    8. A brief bio about the author is included below the article title on the first page of the article.
    9. Articles use references from research results contained in the last 5 years journal, and it is recommended to use the journal Edumatica: Journal of Mathematics Education.
      Article writers at least 2 people.

Edumatica: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika spirit is to disseminate's articles published are as free as possible. Under the Creative Commons license, Edumatica: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika permits users to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work for non-commercial purposes only. Users will also need to attribute authors and Edumatica: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika on distributing works in the journal and other media of publications.

  1. Rights of Authors

Authors retain all their rights to the published works, such as (but not limited to) the following rights;

    a. Copyright and other proprietary rights relating to the article, such as patent rights,

    b. The right to use the substance of the article in own future works, including lectures and books,

If the article was jointly prepared by more than one author, any authors submitting the manuscript warrants that he/she has been authorized by all co-authors to be agreed on this copyright and license notice (agreement) on their behalf, and agrees to inform his/her co-authors of the terms of this policy. Edumatica: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika will not be held liable for anything that may arise due to the author(s) internal dispute. Edumatica: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika will only communicate with the corresponding author.

  1. Royalties

Being an open accessed journal and disseminating articles for free under the Creative Commons license term mentioned, author(s) aware that Edumatica: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika entitles the author(s) to no royalties or other fees.

  1. Miscellaneous

Edumatica: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika will publish the article (or have it published) in the journal if the article’s editorial process is successfully completed. Edumatica: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika's editors may modify the article to a style of punctuation, spelling, capitalization, referencing and usage that deems appropriate. The author acknowledges that the article may be published so that it will be publicly accessible and such access will be free of charge for the readers as mentioned in point 3.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
