JUSS is an open-access journal, which means that all published content is freely available to readers and their institutions without any access fees. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full text of published articles, as well as use the content for any other lawful purpose, without prior permission from the publisher or the authors, provided that appropriate attribution is given. This policy is consistent with the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).
