One of the water sources used for drinking water in Bojonegoro Regency is water from the Bengawan Solo River. The water quality of the Bengawan Solo downstream area is categorized as quality II – III based on the provisions of East Java Governor Regulation No. 61 of 2010 concerning Determination of Water Class in River Water. This research aims to analyze the water quality at the Bojonegoro Water Treatment Plant (IPA) which originates from Bengawan Solo water. This research uses field survey methods, laboratory data collection and observation. Water quality sampling is carried out every month from July to December at three WTPs: Padangan WTP, Ngringinrejo WTP, and Banjarsari WTP. Parameters tested include TDS, turbidity, pH, chlorine, color, hardness, chloride, organic substances, iron, manganese, nitrate, nitrite, sulfate, chromium and ammonia. Observation results show that the processing process includes: intake pond, coagulation and flocculation, filtration, disinfectant, and reservoir before distribution to the public. Coagulants and flocculants use aluminum sulfate (Al2SO4)3. Disinfectant uses Ca(ClO)2. The filtration process uses quartz sand media (sand filter) and fiberglass. The research results show that the water quality in the three IPAs after processing has met drinking water quality standards based on PERMENKES No. 492 of 2010.
