Vol. 16 No. 4 (2026): Pena: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra

Volume 16, Issue 4 (2026) brings together eight scholarly articles resulting from collaboration among academics from various universities and national research institutions. This issue presents a rich discourse that connects applied linguistics, literacy, and critical literary analysis. The diversity of the authors’ institutional backgrounds further broadens the scope of the issues addressed, ranging from the phenomenon of the public linguistic landscape in national transportation infrastructure, to the role of educational media in early childhood literacy, to a psycholinguistic review of the role of the digital ecosystem in second-language acquisition. Furthermore, the field of literary studies is enriched by interdisciplinary readings grounded in semiotics, ecocriticism, Weberian sociology of power, Marxist feminism, and ideological deconstruction. This volume is intended to serve as a comprehensive reference for the development of discourse on language, literature, and culture in Indonesia.
