ADVERBIA PENANDA MODALITAS BAHASA MINANGKABAU

Abstract

This research is conducted as a library research. There are 5 non fiction books used as the research samples. This research is aimed  to have a look at the use of Modality in Minangkabau language and to find out Modality utilized in Minangkabau language which haven’t been found by previous researchers. Research finding shows that Minangkabau language has 11 types of modality which consists of 5 kinds of original modalities and 6 combined modalities. Among  those modalities, it is found varied and non varied modalities.
