Abstract

This study aims to find out the perceptions of accounting students regarding English textbooks used in school accordance Merdeka Belajar Curriculum. This research used a descriptive qualitative research method by involving twenty-five students majoring in accounting. The research instrument used was a Google form questionnaire. The researcher found that the twelfth grade students agreed if the English textbook they used was in accordance with their major like the material in the book, the vocabulary used in the book is related to accounting, the grammar used is also appropriate, the reading passage is also related to accounting, the speaking exercises are also in accordance with accounting and the exercises contained in Textbook are in accordance with the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum are also very suitable with accounting major.
