Peer Review Process

Articles submitted to Jurnal Geosains dan Teknologi will be evaluated through 2 stages of review: pre-review and substantial review.

The pre-review stage is handled by the editorial team, estimation of 1 week, to justify the articles's suitability regarding to the focus and scope of the journal and also with writing guidlines. Plagiarism probability is cross-checked by Google Scholar and Turnitin. 

Substantial review is performed by at least 2 reviewers. This stage will take 2-3 weeks. 

The decision regarding the article acceotance to be published is authorized by the Editor in Chief based on recommendations from reviewers.  Articles that have been declared accepted and have been in-layout will be published in the In Progress issue before the regular issue is published on schedule so they can be indexable and citable immediately.
