MODEL OF DETERMINANT FACTORS IN IMPROVING PRODUCTIVITY AND SUSTAINABILITY OF POTATO FARMING IN KERINCI DISTRICT (WITH SEM-PARTIAL LEAST SQUARE APPROACH)

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis determinan faktor yang mempengaruhi peningkatan produktivitas dan keberlanjutan usahatani kentang. Penetitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Kayu Aro Barat yang ditentukan secarapurposive. Lokus penelitian adalah Desa Sungai Asam, Desa Kebun Baru dan Desa GIRI mulyo. Ukuran populasi ketiga desa ada sebanyak 1100 petani. Dengan menggunakan metode slovin diperoleh ukuran sampel sebanyak 76 KK responden. Metode penarikan sampel adalah simple random sampling method. Dengan metode analisis data menggunakan SEM – PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa deskripsi faktor internal, faktor eksterna petani dan penggunaan input produksi berada pada kategori yang sedang. Kategori produktivitas dan keberlanjutan usahatani kentang berada pada kategori rendah, Faktor internal yang menjadi faktor determinan produktivitas dan keberlanjutan usahatani kentang adalah variabel pendapatan usahatani. Faktor eksternal yang menjadi faktor determinan produktivitas dan keberlanjutan usahatani adalah akses terhadap kredit, akses terhadap teknologi, akses terhadap Penelitian ini bertujuan , Menganalisis dampak faktor internal, faktor eksternal dan adopsi teknologi terhadap produktivitas dan keberlanjutan usahatani kentang, . Sedangkan variabel penggunaan input produksi yang menjadi faktor determinan terhadap produktivitas dan keberlanjutan usahatani kentang adalah luas lahan dan penggunaan pupuk. Faktor internal dan faktor eksternal yang perlu diperhatikan dalam modeling peningkatan produktivitas dan keberlanjutan usahatani kentang adalah penggunaan input produksi dengan cara bantuan sarana produksi, bantuan modal kerja dam bantuan teknologi. Hal ini dapat dilakukan melalui kebijakan peningkatan akses petani terhadap kredit, sarana produksi dan teknologi usahatani kentang.
