Author Guidelines

Manuscripts should be submitted according to the following restrictions:

  1. Manuscripts may be written in English or Indonesian and should be submitted online through the JKOMGI OJS. Online submission and publication are provided free of charge (No Article Processing Charge). Authors must register and log in to make a submission.

  2. Manuscripts should contain a minimum of 2,000 words and should not exceed 15 pages, including tables and figures. Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc/.docx) using A4 paper size and follow the formatting specifications provided in the Article Template.

  3. The Title, Abstract, and Keywords should be written in the same language as the main manuscript, either English or Indonesian.

  4. The title should be concise, informative, and no more than 15 words, written in Times New Roman (TNR), 14 pt, bold, centered, and single-spaced.

  5. The abstract should be written in 11 pt TNR, justified, and single-spaced, and should not exceed 250 words. The abstract should briefly present the research background, objectives, methods, main findings, and conclusion.

  6. Keywords should consist of 3–5 words or phrases, separated by commas, and written in 11 pt TNR, justified, italicized, and single-spaced.

  7. The main text should be written in 12 pt TNR, justified, single-spaced, with a first-line indentation of 5 mm.

  8. Research articles should generally consist of Introduction, Literature Review/Theoretical Framework, Methods, Results and Discussion, and Conclusion, followed by Acknowledgments (if applicable) and References.

  9. At least 80% of the references should be from scholarly journal articles published within the last 10 years. Authors are encouraged to use relevant, recent, and primary scholarly sources.

  10. References from Wikipedia, personal blogs, and non-scientific websites should not be used as primary academic sources.

  11. Tables and figures must be clear, readable, and appropriately numbered. Each table and figure should have an informative caption and be referred to in the main text. Authors should ensure that figures and tables remain readable when printed in grayscale.

  12. Mathematical equations, when applicable, should be clearly presented, consistently numbered, and accompanied by the necessary explanations.

  13. Citations and references must follow the APA 7th edition style. Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote.

  14. Authors must ensure that all submitted manuscripts are original, free from plagiarism, and not under consideration by another journal. Any use of generative AI should comply with accepted publication-ethics standards, and authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy and originality of the manuscript.

The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject manuscripts based on the recommendations of peer reviewers and to make necessary language and editorial adjustments without altering the substantive content of the manuscript. Any substantial editorial changes will be discussed with the author before publication.
