Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning discipline and learning motivation on student learning achievement in the Department of Office Automation and Management of SMK Negeri 2 Jambi City. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey design. The population used in this study were students of the Office Automation and Management Department of SMK Negeri 2 Jambi City. The sampling technique in this study was a saturated sampling technique of 78 students. The data collection technique used in this study was to use a questionnaire or questionnaire method. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple regression analysis techniques which are processed with the help of the SPSS 22 application. The results of this study indicate that (1) There is an effect of learning discipline on learning achievement with a tcount value of 7.646 while the t table value is 1.992 (t count> t table). (2) There is an effect of learning motivation on learning achievement with a tcount value of 5.483 while the t table value is 1.992 (t count> t table). (3) There is an influence of learning discipline and learning motivation on learning achievement with the value of F count 31.830 while the value of F table 3.12 (F count> F table). So that there is a significant influence between learning discipline and learning motivation on learning achievement.
