Abstract

Human behavior is influenced by three needs: achievement, affiliation, and power affiliation. In that regard, individual motivation encourages a person to achieve more results. Furthermore, employee performance is the output of an employee behavior process that refers to the achievement of performance and targets set by the organization, a reflection of the results achieved by an employee in the organization. Career commitment, in this case, plays an essential role because it becomes a long-term driver of the individual. This study intends to formulate a  model of affiliation achievement motive and power motive on career commitment and employee performance where career commitment mediates. Thus, it could be a foundation for future research.
