<p><strong><em>ABSTRACT</em></strong></p> <p><em>The purpose of this research is to find out that there are several problems with the use of the Ruang Guru application by the students who use it, their lack of understanding of the purpose and objectives of the application and their learning achievement is not yet optimal, so they decide to join the tutoring of the Ruang Guru application. . This research method uses qualitative research with descriptive research type. The data collection techniques in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. By using research indicators about what applications are available in the teacher's room which are adapted to history learning material. The results of the research show that the use of the teacher's room application has a positive impact on students' interest in learning and researchers know what the deficiencies in the teacher's room application are so that they can hinder the student's learning process. With the applications and features in the teacher's room, it is hoped that students will be able to learn independently and practice good questions to improve their learning achievement, but the problem that the researchers found was that the discussion room feature was not implemented quickly enough so that when students were working on assignments it took some time. to get answers. This research can be concluded that the use of the teacher's room application is very effective for students' independent learning at home, because it does not require additional costs for transportation outside the house, and is time efficient because students can study independently at home with their respective smartphones. <p><em>This research focuses on the existence of the tale naek joi tradition in permanti village and how it is implemented in terms of time method. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method with a research focus on obtaining accurate and comprehensive data and information. This tradition, known as a tale joi, has a become inseparable part of the way of life of the Kerinci people, it also functions as a regional identity and is part of the traditionalist movement of the people in the Permanti village area, Pondok Tinggi Sungai Penuh city. <p style="font-weight: 400;"><em>This article is prepared based on how the Implementation of Merdeka Belajar Curriculum at SMA N 04 in History Subjects in Jambi City. Qualitative research is a systematic and analytical research or research that builds a cultural reconstruction of a group of people where culture is a reflection of the views of the group as a whole society. This research is used using descriptive qualitative research methods. The data collection technique used in this paper uses primary data, namely by collecting data directly by examining the object concerned. This paper aims to describe and examine more deeply the Merdeka Curriculum in history subjects. <p><em>The Sultanate of Siak is one of the areas that cannot be separated from the cultivation of Dutch Colonialism in 1713-1864. This research was conducted to identify how the development of the Siak Sultanate in western influence, especially Dutch Colonialism in the Siak Sultanate, which can be used as a source of learning, especially the development of teaching materials in historical subjects of specialization, especially during the period of Dutch Colonialism. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research. The results showed that the Siak Sultanate during colonialism could be used as the development of teaching materials in the History subject of specialization. The development of history teaching materials in the History subject of specialization is very useful for students because the material is close to their living environment, thus making the goals of learning history achieved and becoming more meaningful. In addition, it can also build the character of love for history and the nature of responsibility for sustainability, concern for heritage and historical heritage and foster a sense of nationalism.</em></p>Lela Yullia

<p><em>Indonesia becomes one of the countries that has an island-shaped mainland, it is unique to this country, with an island shaped country and has many scattered territories as well as filled with a variety of religious and cultural patterns. And one of the regions that stands above the Indonesian pavilion is Jambi. The long history of the Sa’adatuddaren festival that is in Jambi is one evidence of the local wisdom that occurs in the middle of the community, especially the Arab villages. But now, in the midst of an era of destruction that can take away the local wisdom that already exists, there must be a way to overcome it. This article uses qualitative descriptive research methods with a library study approach with measures of collecting sources, performing analysis on sources, data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawings and verification. And based on the study of the library that has been obtained, it can be concluded that the implementation of local wisdom values as a source of learning is the essence of the traditional learning of the Sa’adatudaren Pondok Pesantren. It is known that this training is the oldest training that has been undertaken by Jambi city which has been standing since 1915 suitable and relevant to be used as a teaching material on the subject of the history of combat because of this material there is also periodization which is relevant with the material “Thinking history (dichronic and synchronous)”. This study aims to identify the feasibility of Jambi Hospital development materials as learning materials for Indonesian history and for specialization in history for high school students. The method used in writing this research uses a qualitative research method that uses a descriptive research approach. The sources used in writing this research are literary sources that use historical analysis techniques that use interpretations of historical facts which include books, documents, journals and observations related to the Dutch government health system. The results of this study indicate that the Dutch heritage Jambi Hospital can be used as a source of learning history in Indonesian History and Specialized History subjects. <p><em>Please This research explores the philosophy of Sekapur Sirih Dance in the context of the Jambi community. The dance is not just a series of movements but a cultural heritage reflecting local wisdom and values deeply rooted in the daily lives of the Jambi people. The results show that Sekapur Sirih Dance is not merely entertainment but also a symbol of harmony and togetherness in the lives of the Jambi community. Each movement, from body posture to facial expressions, is filled with profound meanings that depict values such as unity, diversity, and the balance between humans and nature. The research also discusses the influence of religion and local beliefs in the philosophy of Sekapur Sirih Dance. The gentle and rhythmic movements create a sacred atmosphere, connecting the community with their spiritual heritage. The philosophy of Sekapur Sirih Dance embodies local wisdom, which is continually preserved and highly regarded by the Jambi people as an integral part of their cultural identity. <p><em>This research aims to analyze the socio-cultural values contained in Seloko Adat, a form of traditional oral literature that serves as a heritage of local wisdom for the Malay community in Jambi. Specifically, this study aims to identify, categorize, and evaluate the socio-cultural values in Seloko Adat and explore its role in the social life of the Jambi community. The research method employed is a literature study using secondary data from related articles, journals, and online news. The findings reveal that Seloko Adat is not only a literary work but also carries moral and ethical messages that influence the social life of the Jambi people. These values include togetherness, morality, cultural heritage, family rights and obligations, decency, equality, the importance of education, and environmental awareness. Seloko Adat also strengthens cultural identity, motivates behavior in accordance with societal expectations, and fosters closer family relationships. Thus, Seloko Adat has a positive impact on the social life of the Jambi community, enriching cultural values and preserving local identity.</em></p>Putri Maharani Angelita

<p><em>Gold thread embroidery is a typical Jambi Malay handicraft, which can be done by women in Jambi Kota Seberang. The existence of gold thread embroidery crafts as a hereditary activity and meet the needs of life. This study aims to convey that gold thread embroidery as a cultural heritage from Jambi, the development of gold thread embroidery crafts in Jambi Kota Seberang and the impact of handicrafts on craftsmen and communities in Jambi Kota Seberang. In research using historical research methods consisting of four stages: heuristics, source criticism, interpretation and historiography. The results of this study stated that the craft of gold thread embroidery in the 1980s developed both in terms of human resources, production and marketing. In general, gold thread embroidery crafts are in the form of home industry or businesses in homes. The gold thread embroidery business did not receive support from the Jambi Province Dekranasda, Jambi City Dekranasda and Jambi City Disperindag. In addition, there is an embroidered wage system. Then in 2016, gold thread embroidery crafts began to regress, it can be seen from the level of human resources, production and marketing. <p><em>Type This study explores the role of digital literacy in history education within the global era, emphasizing its relevance in addressing educational challenges in the digital age. The research aims to analyze how digital literacy enhances historical learning through digital resources such as online archives, virtual museums, and social media. Using a qualitative method with a literature review approach, data was collected from journals, books, and online sources. The findings reveal that digital literacy facilitates information access and fosters critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deeper understanding of historical values. Tools like virtual tours effectively boost students’ interest in history, reinforce national identity, and instill global perspectives. <p><em>Since the establishment of the city of Batavia by Jan Pieter Coen, who served as the Governor-General of the VOC since 1619, a city was founded and officially named Batavia in 1620. Batavia became a modern city and a center for trade, politics, governance, economy, and culture, and it was also one of the territories under Dutch East India Company control for approximately 300 years. In this writing, a qualitative descriptive research method is used with a literature study approach and steps to collect sources, as well as in the implementation of data collection and analysis procedures, four stages are undertaken, namely, data collection, reduction, presentation, and data verification. And based on the literature study that has been conducted, it can be concluded that teaching materials are materials containing detailed and integrated information about the subject matter. And based on the literature study that has been obtained, it can be concluded that teaching materials are materials containing detailed and integrated information about the subject matter used to carry out a learning process. Therefore, historical sites and information and data about the history of Batavia, or often known as Old Batavia, especially during the period of 1619-1942, can be used as references for the preparation or creation of teaching materials in the history subject, which is interesting to improve the success of the history learning process itself.</em></p>Hendra Kusuma
