Ketimpangan Sosial Kelas Borjuis dan Proletar dalam Film The Prosecutor 2024: Kajian Teori Konflik Karl Marx

Social conflict is an inherent phenomenon within societal dynamics and has become a central focus in sociological studies. One of the key figures who significantly contributed to conflict theory is Karl Marx, who emphasized that social inequality arises from the dominance of the bourgeoisie over the proletariat within the capitalist system. Employing a qualitative approach through film text analysis, this study examines the concept of social conflict in Marxist thought to represent social realities and critique structural inequalities in society. The findings reveal that The Prosecutor (2024) clearly portrays class inequality through disparities in material conditions, power relations, and unequal access to the legal system. The bourgeoisie class is depicted as holding structural dominance, while the proletariat is positioned as subordinate and vulnerable to legal injustice. These findings affirm that film functions as a medium of social criticism that reflects class conflict within capitalist society.
Abstrak
Konflik sosial merupakan fenomena yang mendasari dalam dinamika masyarakat dan telah menjadi fokus utama dalam kajian sosiologi. Salah satu tokoh yang memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam teori konflik adalah Karl Marx, yang menekan bahwa ketimpangan sosial terjadi akibat dominasi kelas borjuis terhadap kelas proletar dalam sistem kapitalisme. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis teks film, artikel ini mengkaji konsep konflik sosial dalam pemikiran Karl Marx untuk merepresentasikan realitas sosial serta kritik terhadap ketimpangan struktural dalam masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa film The Prosecutor 2024 secara jelas merepresentasikan ketimpangan kelas sosial melalui perbedaan kondisi material, relasi kuasa, serta akses yang tidak setara terhadap sistem hukum. Kelas borjuis digambarkan memiliki dominasi struktural, sementara kelas proletar berada pada posisi subordinat dan rentan terhadap ketidakadilan hukum. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa film berfungsi sebagai media kritik sosial yang merefleksikan konflik kelas dalam masyarakat kapitalis.
