Abstract

Stunting is a problem in Indonesia, even a global problem because until now there has been no proper treatment to overcome it. It is necessary to prevent stunting by paying attention to the type of food consumed, so that during the growth process does not experience a lack of nutrients that are important for the body. This study aims to prevent stunting by giving eel nungget to stunted children in Catur Rahayu Village. In this study, it can be characterized that the ingredients used play a very important role, such as eel. The results of this study show that eel contains vitamin A, and protein which is good for the body. Not only that, amino acids, carbohydrates, magnesium, calcium, iron, and various other nutrients are also stored in eel. Not only eel, through this research, carrots, eggs, sago flour and other panir flour also have a good impact on health. Of course, this study will benefit future researchers, both in terms of health in stunted children and in terms of finance because our group uses recipes with healthy ingredients and low costs. Stunting is the failure of growth and development in children under 5 years of age (infants under 5 years old).
