ABSTRACT
The objectives of research for infiltration measurement on forest at Sumani Sub Watershed were to know infiltration rate in forest on some slope classes and analysis physical properties of soil that related to infiltration. Infiltration measurement and soil sample was taken in forest on slope of 3-8%, 30-50%, and 50-100% by survey method. The soil sample was defined by stratified random sampling on depth of soil 0-20 cm. The infiltration was measured by double ring infiltrometer. The rate of infiltration of forest on slope 3-8, 30-50, and 50-100% were 82,90 mm/jam; 186,80 mm/jam, and 242,60 mm/jam. While factor that most influence infiltration rate was soil water content.
