TINGKAT KESESUAIAN LAHAN DI DAS BATANG BUNGO UNTUK TANAMAN KARET

ABSTRACT
Rubber was agricultural commodity that cultivated dominantly by farmer in Batang Bungo Watershed. Study potential of land and it’s suitability for a crop was needed for agricultural planning in a region. The aim of this research were analysis land suitability class in Batang Bungo Watershed for rubber and it’s limiting factors. The results showed that land fertility in Batang Bungo Watershed was classified very low-low and the land was classified S3-S2 for rubber, too. Limiting factors of rubber development in this region were nutrient retention, drainage, and erosion.
