This type of research is qualitative descriptive. The place of research is SDN 64 / I Muara Bulian, the research subject is class V students. The research procedures are data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. Data collection techniques: Observation and Interview. The results of the study, namely the implementation of a multimedia-based problem based learning model, is very helpful for students in carrying out problem solving activities. Science materials presented through learning videos are more interesting and arouse students' interest in learning. However, the obstacle faced by teachers is the difficulty of formulating problems in science materials and looking for learning resources in the form of learning videos that are suitable for learning. Qualitative descriptive research type. The results of the teacher's strategy in improving Al-Qur'an reading skills are the application of the Qur'anic learning method in the classroom, mentoring, teacher cooperation with peers, cooperation with schools with parents, school collaboration with the community and the provision of facilities and infrastructure. The factors that support the PAI teacher's strategy in improving Al-Qur'an reading skills include: Students already have the ability to read the Qur'an, a family environment that can be a role model and teach children to read the Qur'an. The subject of this study was Vb grade students of SDN 61 / X Talang Babat. This classroom action research was carried out in two cycles. At the beginning of the first cycle, a plan is made to make the lesson plan, the second step is to implement RPP, the observer records the course of the implementation of the first cycle on the observation sheet, the observation results are reflected and set out in the reflection sheet. At the end of the first cycle evaluation was carried out with results that had increased from the pre-cycle activities. The results of the learning evaluation are converted into a table of results of understanding the concept, the results of the conversion state that the research has not yet reached the target, it needs to be continued with the second cycle. The evaluation results of the second cycle were converted to a conceptual understanding table of students, where in the conversion table it was illustrated that the research had reached the target. Comparison of evaluation results from the first cycle with the second cycle there was an increase of 13%. This study aims to describe the application of paired practice strategies (Practice Rehearsal Pairs) to improve dance movement skills of students in 4th grade elementary school dance learning. This research was conducted in 66 / IV Public Elementary School in Jambi City in the even semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. This type of research is classroom action research, which consists of II cycles with procedures starting from planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were grade IVB students of SD 66 / IV in Jambi City. Instrument Data collection used was teacher action observation and practice test (performance) of student dance movement skills. Data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the percentage of student practice tests (performance) amounted to 45% with less categories in the first cycle and increased in the second cycle by 82.5% in the good category. The students have to join the exam before, so the school can map the level of their cognitive abilities. Apart from the seriousness of learning, the intelligence possessed by excellent students is inseparable from the existence of parental support. This research supports to see how the form of parental support for students. Data collection is done by collecting questionnaires for students and also parents of students at Al-Falah Islamic Elementary School in Jambi city. Questionnaires have been processed are completed qualitatively so that the data obtained is descriptive. The procedure of this study uses a qualitative approach, the place of research in Elementary School Teacher Education FKIP Jambi University. The study population was 261 students. The sample of this study 15% with random sampling technique. Data was taken through observation, tests, questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis is done by studying, arranging, synthesizing, looking for patterns and finding what is systematically meaningful. The results of the study only 20% of students reached KKM 75 / B + passed the test because: (1) students had difficulty understanding basic geometry concepts (2) students had difficulty in using the formula (3) routine students in understanding the connectedness of each build and 4 ) Difficult students solve questions that are mixed with application stories that require analysis. While the factors that influence it are (1) the basic ability of students to mathematics is still low (2) learning motivation is still low (3) low learning readiness (4) the availability of books / references that are minimal (5) lack of trying to solve complicated / reasoning questions . Jenis Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan tes.&nbsp; Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ternyata pengguna alat peraga gambar seri dalam pembelajaran menjadi suatu unsur yang paling berpengaruh dalam membantu mengoptimalkan keterampilan siswa dalam membuat karangan sederhana. Hasil tes formatif yang dicapai pada siklus I oleh 15 subyek penelitian mencapai tingkat keberhasilan 75% - 90%. Sedangkan 5 subjek ternyata masih mendapatkan hasil yang belum optimal (65%). Penerapan pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada penggunaan alat peraga pada Siklus II ini sudah lebih baik dibanding tindakan I. Alat peraga yang digunakan yang ada di sekitar kelas. Pada tindakan perbaikan siklus II ini, tujuan pembelajaran sudah tercapai. Pada saat pelaksanaan perbaikan pembelajaran pada siklus kedua, siswa mengalami perubahan tingkah laku. Siswa penuh kosentrasi mengikuti pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Lapangan (PTL). Tindakan dilakukan melalui kolaborasi dengan pengurus OSIS yang melakukan observasi dan pemberian <em>token ekonomi</em> pada tahap awal. Tahap selanjutnya, pemberian token konomi dilakukan oleh konselor sekolah. Setiap tindakan diberikan dalam tiga sikuls penelitian denga&nbsp; tahap-tahap yang sama. Setiap tahap dilakukan berdasarkan lagkah-langkah perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, pemberian token ekonomi, evaluasi, refleksi dan revisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui pemberian token ekonomi, perilaku negatif siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Kota Jambi dapat diubah menjadi perilaku positif.</p> S Sokiyah Copyright (c) 2019 Jurnal Gentala Pendidikan Dasar 2019-06-13 2019-06-13 4 1 107 121 10.22437/gentala.v4i1.6883 MENINGKATKAN KEMANDIRIAN SISWA MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KONTEKSTUAL DI KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR https://online-journal.unja.ac.id/gentala/article/view/6972 <p><strong>Abstrak</strong><strong>. </strong>Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA menggunakan model pembelajaran kontekstual di kelas IV SDN No.187/1 teratai. penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus, data yang diambil berupa data observasi melalui lembar kemandirian belajar siswa. penelitian ini dilakukan dengan 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan penerapan model pembelajran kontekstual dapat meningkatkan kemandirian belajar ssiwa pada mata pelajaran IPA. Berdasarkan lembar observasi kemandirian belajar siswa pada awal sebelum diberi tindakan kemandirian belajar siswa hanya 47,05% dan setelah dilakukan tindakan pada siklus I terlihat peningkatan kemandirian belajar siswa menjadi 64,70%, kemudian pada siklus ii meningkat lagi menjadi 82,35%. Kesimpulan &nbsp;penelitian yaitu penerapan model pembelajaran kontekstual dapat meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa di kelas IV SDN No.187/1 teratai yang diharapkan kemandirian belajar siswa lebih tinggi, siswa dapat menyelesaikan tugasnya tanpa melihat hasil teman sejawatnya, siswa bisa lebih mudah memahami materi pelajaran dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kontekstual, dan diupayakan kedepannya pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kontekstual dapat di terapkan dengan penerapan media berbasis teknologi untuk memaksimalkan hasil belajar siswa.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Kata</strong> <strong>kunci : </strong>model pembelajaran kontekstual, kemandirian belajar</p> Andi Suhandi Dini Kurniasri Copyright (c) 2019 Jurnal Gentala Pendidikan Dasar 2019-06-18 2019-06-18 4 1 122 134 10.22437/gentala.v4i1.6972 PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA POP-UP BOOK BERBASIS BUDAYA LOKAL KEBERAGAMAN BUDAYA BANGSAKU SISWA KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR https://online-journal.unja.ac.id/gentala/article/view/6979 <p>The purpose of this research is the development of local culture-based Pop-Up Book media based on process skills to train students' confidence that is valid, practical and effective. Focus on the PPKn class IV load, the sub-theme of my national culture diversity. This type of research uses the ADDIE development model (analysts, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The research subjects were fourth grade students of elementary school. The results of the local culture-based Pop-Up Book media validation of Grade IV elementary school students are (1) Local culture-based Pop-Up media have teaching material that has a movable part with two-dimensional elements. (2) Fulfilling valid criteria with the results of the material expert test reaching a 97% validity level with the category of "very good", for the test results media experts reached a 91% validity level with the category "very good" and worth trying out. After obtaining the validation results, a small group trial and interview were conducted to find out the practicality of the local culture-based Pop-Up media in grade IV elementary school students.
