Perbandingan Perlindungan Data Pribadi antara Undang-Undang Nomor 27 Tahun 2022 dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 2024

Abstract

The circulation of personal data in Indonesia is increasingly difficult to control, and personal data leaks often occur which are detrimental to society, one of which is caused by the increasingly advanced information and communication technology in Indonesia. The potential for personal data leakage is unlimited, including both online and offline activities. Regulations related to personal data protection are divided into several laws and other regulations. so in this writing the author wants to compare the protection of personal data in Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection with Law Number 1 of 2024 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions. This research is normative legal research or can also be called library research, with secondary data sources and primary data sources, primary research data is taken from Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Protection of Personal Data and Law Number 1 of 2024 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions relating to researchers' research, secondary legal materials, official documents. Publications about law include textbooks, legal dictionaries, legal journals related to researchers' research.
