Low knowledge of adolescents about anemia is the biggest factor causing anemia, especially school children who have unhealthy snack habits and unhealthy diets. The KECERIA program aims to educate adolescent girls. This activity was carried out at SMK Negeri 4, Jambi City, targeting adolescent girls. This activity was carried out in May-July 2024 with stages, advocacy, socialization, and nutrition education for 34 adolescent girls. Quantitative assessments were carried out pre- and post-tests before and after nutrition education. The average knowledge score before being given education was 59.41 and increased to 80.88 during the post-test. The results of the Paired Samples Test statistical analysis (Dependent T Test) found a P value = <0.0001, which means that there is a difference in the average knowledge of respondents in the pre-test and post-test results of SMK Negeri 4, Jambi City students after being given education. The causes of stunting are multifactorial and mostly originate from family factors, so efforts to reduce stunting must focus on family empowerment, one of which is the Healthy Living Community Movement (GERMAS). This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to improve clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) in the community, namely mothers of toddlers in Kota Karang Village, Kumpeh Ulu District, Muaro Jambi Regency as part of the implementation of good practices of the Quality Family Village (KB Village). PkM activities were carried out 6 (six) times by providing GERMAS education on PHBS including physical activity, healthy nutritious food, smoking behavior and alcohol consumption, health checks, environmental cleanliness, personal hygiene, and use of family toilets. The analysis results obtained an increase in the average PHBS behavior score of mothers of toddlers before and after the intervention. The highest average value difference is the behavior of healthy nutritious food (5.76) followed by family toilets (4.17), personal hygiene (2.52), environmental cleanliness (1.35), smoking and alcohol consumption behavior (0.94), regular health checks = 0.77 and physical activity = 0.76. Although often considered less risky than formal workplaces, homes also have potential hazards that can threaten safety and health. Around 1.71 billion people worldwide experience musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). One of the non-pharmacological treatments that can be applied for MSDs is ergonomic exercise. However, the low understanding and awareness of housewives about ergonomic hazards due to daily activities is a problem. Many mothers carry out housework without adequate knowledge of ergonomic principles, thus increasing the risk of MSDs. Therefore, it is important to increase public awareness of the benefits of ergonomic exercises, which can help maintain health and minimize the risk of musculoskeletal disorders during activities at home. This study aims to analyze the effect of ergonomic exercises in preventing musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) in housewives in RT 11 Bagan Pete Village. Results showed an increase in knowledge of ergonomic work hazards, with a probability value of p < 0.001, which indicates significance below 0.05. The mean pre-test score of participants was 10.13 (SD 5.476), while the mean post-test score increased to 18 (SD 1.259). In addition, the change in musculoskeletal complaints after stretching was also significant, with a p-value of 0.002. This shows that stretching has a positive impact in reducing musculoskeletal complaints among housewives. In conclusion, the ergonomic exercise service program not only increases knowledge and skills regarding good posture, but also provides more energy and reduces muscle pain. This activity succeeded in raising awareness of the importance of ergonomics in daily activities, which is expected to reduce the risk of injury due to household chores.
2024-12-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Salam Sehat Masyarakat (JSSM) https://online-journal.unja.ac.id/JSSM/article/view/38234 Edukasi Pencegahan Penyakit Tidak Menular Melalui Gerakan Remaja CERDIK 2024-11-04T22:14:23+07:00 Puspita Sari puspita.sari@unja.ac.id M.
