Aplikasi Biochar Sekam Padi Dan Pupuk Kandang Ayam Terhadap Agregasi Tanah Dan Hasil Kedelai Pada Lahan Bekas Tambang Batubara

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh biochar sekam padi dan pupuk kandang ayam terhadap agregasi tanah dan hasil kedelai pada lahan bekas tambang batubara. Penelitian dilaksanakan di lahan bekas tambang batubara PT. Nan Riang yang terletak di Desa Jebak, Kecamatan Muara Tembesi, Kabupaten Batang Hari, Provinsi Jambi. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni - Oktober 2020. Penelitian berupa percobaan (eksperimen) dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 7 perlakuan dan 4 kelompok, yaitu B0 = Tanpa perlakuan, B2 = 5 ton/ha pupuk kandang ayam, B3 = 2,5 ton/ha biochar sekam padi + 2,5 ton/ha pupuk kandang ayam, B4 = 10 ton/ha biochar sekam padi, B5 = 10 ton/ha pupuk kandang ayam, dan B6 = 5 ton/habiochar sekam padi + 5 ton/ha pupuk kandang ayam. Variabel tanah yang diamati yaitu bahan organik tanah (%), tekstur tanah, bobot volume tanah (g/cm3), total ruang pori tanah (%), kemantapan agregat tanah (%), dan persen agregat terbentuk (%). Variabel tanaman yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman (cm), jumlah polong berisi per tanaman, dan hasil tanaman (kg/petak). Hasil sidik ragam menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh perlakuan biochar sekam padi dan pupuk kandang ayam sangat nyata berbeda terhadap bahan organik tanah, kemantapan agregat tanah, dan tinggi tanaman. Nyata berbeda terhadap persen agregat terbentuk, jumlah polong berisi per tanaman, dan tidak berbeda nyata terhadap bobot volume tanah, total ruang pori tanah, dan hasil tanaman.
